Hayley Orrantia is the American performer, songwriter and actress. People are familiar with her because of her character as Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television "The Goldbergs.' Her definition of herself is the best musician of all. Since she was 9 years older, she started dabbling into music. After she turned 12 years old, music became seriously enough that she began formal training. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was only 14 when she recorded her first album of cover songs. It was the beginning of her career. Orrantia has Hispanic heritage, yet was born in the USA. Although she spoke only English as a child and not been to Mexico Orrantia feels extremely happy with her Hispanic origins. In her pursuit of learning Spanish and writing songs, she is trying to keep the culture alive. One of her attempts was an original Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was chosen out of an YouTube video and was awarded 4 "yes" vote from the judge in the live audition stage in Seattle, Washington. She was originally a solo performer, but after "Hollywood Week", three other female performers were added to a group to continue the auditions. The group was eliminated at the 5th week of the live program.
