Hayley Orrantia is the American performer, songwriter and actress. One of her most well-known roles includes Erica Goldberg who stars in "The Goldbergs," an American comedy show. Her primary focus is as a performer. Music is her first love she claims; it's something she has dabbled at when she was 9 years old. When she was 12 years old, music became seriously enough, that she started professionally trained. In 2013, she took on songwriting and produced her debut album. The rest is history. Orrantia is a native of America but with Hispanic roots. She is proud of the reality that she is a native of Hispanic roots although she was raised in English only, and did not live in Mexico. By learning Spanish and composing songs, she strives to preserve the tradition. One of her efforts was the creation of a Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was picked to perform for The X Factor's first season, which aired in summer 2011. The Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she got four "yeses" (or votes), from the judges at The Seattle audition. She originally auditioned solo, however, during "Hollywood week" she was put together with three female singers in a trio for the remaining auditions. They were eventually eliminated at the end of the fifth show.
