Luciana Paoluzzi, as well as Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the daughter of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress of Benito Mussolini). There is no information available on having siblings. Luciana graduated from a local high-school in the year 1955. She was a student of naval engineering at Milan, at the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana was the only female in her class, was the first to graduate. Following two years of modeling, she was offered a role in Three Coins in the Fountain. It was her first role. Brett Halsey - an actor who was her first partner. They completed Return to the Peyton Palace together after their 1960 wedding. The couple had the birth of a son called Charles born on 13 June 1961, but they divorced one year after the birth of Charles and Luciana received custody. Luciana was married to Tony Athony. They dated between 1962 and 1970. Tony Athony was a performer and producer who was influenced by Luciana's contribution to the film Green Slime. Based on the film, he wrote and composed his own Spaghetti Western hybrid that became popular.
