Lindsey Vonn, an American skier born on October 18 1984, was awarded the gold medal for downhill skiing at the Winter Olympics in 2010. She has the second highest overall score for any skier whether female or male. Her name is one of the most skilled skiers on earth and is also the most liked skier in America. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn is a member of her country's US Ski Team. The American has won all-around World Cup competition four times. She's one of the most famous athletes within American History. She is the only six women who have triumphed at all five alpine ski World Cup events. In total, she's had an impressive 82 World Cup championships. She is among the top skiers on the planet and the most successful American ski racer have planned to retire after the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. Four times World Cup winner decided to quit after a long list of ailments. She used social media to announce her retirement. The World Championships of Downhill and SG in Re Sweden will mark my final races in Re Sweden.
