Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and a writer, who has won numerous awards. Ali MacGraw is famous for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she grew up in a creative environment. When she was an assistant to photographers She turned her focus to modeling and acting. She won an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as a promising young actor. MacGraw's movie Love Story was an international success, earning her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. With just three movies she was the highest-rated female box-office star worldwide. Her footprints from 1972 as well as autograph was inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She has starred in several other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among many others. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw is married three times.
